St James Senior Boys’ School offers a wide range of sporting facilities.
Externally there are cricket nets, two large playing fields suitable for cricket and athletics, a 3G pitch for 5 a-side football and tennis courts.
A new sports centre boasts a hall to accommodate four indoor cricket nets. The 32 x 18m hall is marked out for basketball, volleyball, handball and four badminton courts.
Set in 32 acres with the stately grade II listed main school building as the centrepiece there is an abundance of space for team building and staff social events spread across the grounds. Pitches for football, cricket and softball can be marked out for summer fun with your colleagues. A BBQ or picnic can be provided and there is a lake for water sports.
